Privacy notice
How we look after your family's information, in plain English.
Who we are
HDperformance provides football coaching, strength and conditioning and the HDperformance Academy. We are the data controller for the information you give us.

What we collect
When you fill in one of our forms, we collect:
- About you: your name, email address and, where you give it, phone number.
- About your child: first name and age only. We don't ask for surnames, dates of birth or school names.
- For the Academy: your child's current schooling (attends school, home educated or other), a preferred day, how you heard about us and, if you choose to tell us, any additional needs.
- Your message and your preferences, such as session type and preferred times.
- For shop updates: just your email address.
- For area updates: your town or postcode, your child's age and whether you're interested in coaching, the Academy or both.
- For partnership enquiries: your name, email address, area and message.
Information about additional needs can be health information, which the law treats as special category data. We only use it to plan support for your child, and only with your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the consent box.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange coaching or an Academy place.
- To plan sessions that suit your child's age, stage and needs.
- To tell you when the shop opens, if you asked us to.
- To tell you when HDperformance comes to your area, if you asked us to.
- To reply to partnership enquiries.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for unrelated marketing.
Our lawful basis
We rely on your consent, given when you tick the box on our forms, and on taking steps you've asked for before an agreement (such as booking sessions). You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing coachhd@hdperformance.co.uk or through our contact form.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Netlify hosts this website and handles our forms.
- 123 Reg provides our email, where form submissions are delivered to us.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits. It doesn't use cookies or collect information that identifies you.
Netlify may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
We'll only share information with anyone else if the law requires it or to keep a child safe.
Cookies
This website doesn't set cookies for analytics or advertising, which is why there's no cookie banner. Embedded videos only load from YouTube or Vimeo when you choose to play them.
Photos and videos of children
We only publish photos or videos of children with written consent from a parent or guardian. We avoid using children's full names in captions. You can withdraw consent at any time and we'll remove the image from our website and social media.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't go further are kept for 12 months, then deleted. Details for registered players are kept as set out in our terms. Shop update requests are kept until the shop opens or you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you or your child
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your information
- restrict or object to how we use it
- transfer it to you or someone else

Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
